Strange Anistar City smoke puffs?

Question

In Anistar City after I beat the game, the Professor powered up my Mega Ring. After this happened, I noticed that my character was emitting small puffs of smoke. This stopped after I flew away on my Charizard. Has this happened to anyone else, and if so, do you know what the cause could be?

That's just your character's breath. It's pretty cold in Anistar, apparently! You can also see your breath in Snowbelle.
