PokéBase - Pokémon Q&A

I got a Zorua in Wonder Trade, but every time it comes out to battle it looks like my Fletchinder. Why is that? Is something wrong with it?

Thank you to the two that were nice enough to explain this to me.
To the other person that said I was dumb you are rather rude. I am sorry I didn't know. For you information I have NOT played anything past Crystal, so I am NOT familiar with the Pokemon past second generation. I didn't even know of the Pokemon until I got it, let alone what it's abilities were.

This is completely normal. It is the result of Zorua's ability [Illusion][1]

Illusion will cause Zorua to look like the last member of your party, right down to the call, sprite and name, but it will have the moves, typing and stats it normally would.

There are a lot of fun ways to trick your opponent with Zorua this way.

Basically, don't worry, this is exactly what Zorua is meant to do. Have fun and hope this helps.

No, it has an ability called Illusion. That makes it appear as the last Pokemon in your party and is the signature ability of Zorua and Zoroark.

>Illusion will change the appearance of the Pokémon to that of the last Pokémon in the player's party.

If that's not the case then I don't know what the problem would be :/

Hope I helped!
