If I get hit by a fire type attack and flash fire kicks in and I mega houndoom would I still have the boost?

Yes, you would still have the boost. Mega Evolution does not nullify any stat changes. Nothing will happen to the boost reveiced.

yes, Fire moves still get the boost after ou mega evolve.
