Gen 6 and Volt Tackle breeding?

Question

I got two Pikachus from Wonder Trade a couple days ago. Both know Volt Tackle, and one is male and the other is female. If I breed them together, will the baby know Volt Tackle too, or does one of the Pikachus need the Light Ball to hold?

As long as one of the parents hold a Light Ball, Pichu is guaranteed to have Volt Tackle.

Thanks!  I didn't know that the Light Ball was mandatory even if both parents knew Volt Tackle.

Uh, if you gave a Ditto the Light Ball, I'm pretty sure it wouldn't work (Assuming one of the parents is a Ditto)

But in this case, the parents are both Pikachus, so that wouldn't matter. xD
