Were HG/SS the only games to come with a little gadget or extra to the game?

I'm 100% sure LR/FR came with some gadget, but forgot what it was and am too lazy to look it up.

Other than HG/SS, FRLG came with a Wireless Adapter used for online play and for obtaining Mystery Gifts.
