The Tamato Berry can be obtained via three ways in Pokémon Black and White 2, you can either:

  • Purchase a set number (4) at the Flower Shop in Join Avenue for 3000 Pokémon Dollars. Note you can only obtain the Tamato Berry if the owner of the Flower Shop is either:

  • Preschooler Arpo

  • Pokémon Breeder Joakim
  • Roughneck Aleron

  • The Rank of the Flower Shop must also be at Rank 9.

  • Recieve one as a reward for defeating the Level 10 boss of Black Tower/White Treehollow.

  • Note you are not guaranteed to get the Tamato Berry as you will be rewarded with an EV Reducing Berry (Pomeg Berry, Kelpsy Berry, Qualot Berry, Hondew Berry, Grepa Berry, Tamato Berry), or a Rare Candy.

  • Purchase them from the Pokémon Breeder near the Hidden Grotto on Route 5, for 200 Pokémon Dollars.

  • Note she will sell 5 random EV Reducing Berries for a total of 200 Pokémon Dollars. The player can only buy 5 Berries once per day. As it is based on the random number generator, Berries can be manipulated by soft resetting the game, but only if the player does not to talk her. When the game is restarted, she will sell different Berries.

Wow Fondant, rrrrude
i've already tried the breeder..but no tamato. berry
Thanks fondant :) and shaf like fondant said the EV Reducing Berry you get is random, so you're not guaranteed to get the Tamato Berry. Therefore what you should do is try again tomorrow to get the Tamato Berry from the Pokémon Breeder, but in the meantime try one of the other methods listed above.
thanks sir dan.. (Y) .love this community <3
No problem man, you're very welcome :)

This maybe extremely old and I'm extremely late, but for any future Black/White 2 players, you can't get a Tamato Berry from the Breeder from Route 5 near the Hidden Grotto, as the official Bulbapedia says so (both the Tamato Berry page and Route 5 page in the item section).

You are right, I've tried resetting around 100 times, and yet no tomato Berry. But I've also seen many people claiming that they did get the Berry in question from the breeder.
