The ORAS demos has been released on Australia. (I'm in Australia and I got it.) Using the account that I registered my Pokemon X and Y on Club Nintendo with, I received an email on the 15th titled "Special Gift For You - Pokémon Omega Ruby & Pokémon Alpha Sapphire Special Demo!". However, on a separate email account which I signed up with for the Nintendo Newsletter, I did not receive the code either. My idea is that Nintendo only sent codes to those who registered their Pokemon X and Y's, though I'm not entirely sure about that since I can't correlate with anyone.
This demo can be downloaded from the eShop by using a special serial code, which can be obtained from one of many various sources:
> - From the Pokémon Trainer Club newsletter. If you do not already have an account, register on Pokemon.com and make sure to set your email preferences in your profile to receive the newsletter on October 20th. This appears to be the only way to receive a demo code in America.
- From certain online retailers by pre-ordering Omega Ruby or Alpha Sapphire or having bought X/Y in the past. For the UK this includes Amazon.co.uk, Smyths Toys, ShotTo.net or the Nintendo UK Official Store.
- From a 'Nintendo Zone' in participating outlets. This is usually your national gaming store such as GAME. > Full details for your location can be found by going to Pokemonrubysapphire.com and then from the menu choosing Cool Features then Special Demo Version.
