Can Synchronize and Magic Bounce be affected by an effect of a move?

Like I use Sludge Bomb on a Synchronize Umbreon and a Magic Bounce Espeon and the poison appears.

• Would the Umbreon's ability poison me?
• Would Espeon's ability reflect the poison back to me?

1. Yes, Synchronize would poison, because the status was inflicted upon it by an opponent

2. No. Sludge Bomb is not a status move, and Magic Bounce does not bounce back status conditions.
