What Happens when a Pokemon with Damp uses Explosion?

I don't think it's actually possible in-game, but just wondering.

You don't blow up and the move fails. Also, I'm pretty sure no Pokemon with Damp can learn explosion or self-destruct.

Wasn't this answer used to be just "You don't blow up?" Anyways, it's confirmed no Damp Pokémon can learn self-destroying moves. If they did, that would be kinda useless and illogical.
