Does winning all contest ranks make your Pokemon have a lot of affection too?

So my Meganium (Lv 42 FEMALE) had finished all beauty ranks. Then when I sent it into battle, it turned it's head toward me when I sent it into battle, like when it has max affection! I also brought its affection level up to two before this happened.

Yes!
Source: I used my Skarmory to win all the contests. I hadn't played Amie with it a single time, and yet it bounces and gets the boosted EXP when I use it in battle.
