Does Ditto copy exact stats, or does it level match?

Question

I know it copies the opposing Pokemon's stats 'exactly', which means it will copy all the IV's and EV's. What I want to know is if I allow a level 45 ditto to copy a level 1 Pidgey, will it have the same horrible (5-6) points for every stat, or will it have the stats that the Pidgey would have if it were also level 45

It will copy exactly its stats.

So,it will have the stats of level 1 pidgey.(Aside from HP stat)

Ditto, when transformed, will always copy the stats of the opponent (except for its HP, which it keeps), regardless of level. So yes, Ditto would have the awful stats of a level 2 Pidgey (except for HP).
