If you're trapped in any way and you gain the Ghost type by Trick or Treat, do you remain trapped?

I was just wondering, because Ghost types can't be trapped this gen.

Yes, a non-ghost type can escape as a ghost from Shadow tag

"Generation VI
Ghost-type Pokémon are now immune to Shadow Tag." -Bulbapedia

But it still won't allow you to escape mean look or block

What do you mean? Did i answer incorrectly? I edited the answer to say if you gained ghost type you can escape shadow tag. Is that not what you wanted? Please explain and i happily will
