Would Super Fang do half of the target's HP in this case?

Question

Level 1 Pokemon used Super Fang on Level 100 Pokemon!
What would happen:
Half HP would be dealt
or
A very small amount of damage would be dealt?

Half HP would be dealt

It will do half of the remaining target no matter how much level difference between the two Pokemon.

The user chomps hard on the target with its sharp front fangs.
This cuts the target's HP in half.

Pokémon DB's description of Super Fang

>Always takes off half of the opponent's HP.

Super Fang isn't like OHKO moves or Night Shade, Seismic Toss etc. where it's dependant on your level; it will always have the same effect.
