Why isn't Pokerus spreading?

In Alpha Sapphire my lvl 1 Mudkip with Pokerus from wonder trade isn't spreading Pokerus its been in my PC for 3 days it was surrounding all Pokemon possible.

You have to have it in your party to spread Pokerus, and has to be surrounded by Pokemon that have not been cured of Pokerus (shown from the small pink smilie face).

If it's in your PC, all that will happen is that Pokerus will not be cured (it'll still be active and can infect more Pokemon when taken out again). If it's left in your party past midnight, there's a chance that Pokerus will get cured.

Just want to add that when a Pokémon with Pokerus is in your party, it can only spread after a battle. Additionally, it only has a random chance to spread (in my experience, it appears to be about a 20-30% chance per battle). If it’s not spreading for you even after several battles, you’re probably just getting bad RNG.
