If I have a French Ditto, and a Japenese Aurorus but I live in America, will the Masuda Method still take place?

Yes it will!

The only conditions of the Masuada Method are having two parent Pokémon from different countries with one holding a Destiny Knot. One does not have to be from your / your DS' native country.
