Why wont my pokedex update after looking at bill's pc?

Question

why wont my pokedex update after going out of the cottage and then coming back in and looking at bill's pc which should at 4 new pages to the pokedex but that didn't happen. so why wont it work.

Note that it adds pages to Pokemon seen, not Pokemon caught. If you are looking in the right place it's most likely a glitch, checking your Pokedex progress would be a good idea to see if there was any change. If it still doesn't work it's definitely a glitch and could probably be fixed by loading an older save. Hope this helps!
