Why won't anyone in this base battle me?

so I was playing Omega ruby and I got serebii's QR code. then I found him or her's base. then before I asked to go in my base I asked to battle. he said "come back tomorrow" when I never been in him or her's base before. and the grunts won't let me battle either. what happened?

If you scan a QR code for a secret base, you won't be able to battle them until the day after. This is probably to prevent people from deleting the base and re-scanning it so they don't have to wait until the next day to battle the base.
