Where is the Magnetic Zone in Pokemon Sun/Moon?

I recently posted a question on Sun/Moon, but I have another:

Where is the Magnetic Zone?

Every Pokemon game since Diamond/Pearl has had a magnetic zone somewhere in the region. Well, I'm training a Magnemite to become a Magneton, then a Magnezone. But to do this I need a magnetic zone.

According to this video, Alola's magnetic zone is in a cave off of Vast Poni Canyon. From what I can gather, this location is found later on in the game.

I can confirm, I got a shiny magnemite within 15 min of the game and I carried it all the ways through as my best Pokemon and it finally evolved in the Poni Canyon.

(if you haven't already got a magnemite/ton, I recommend it, its really helpful most of the time)
