How does synchronize interact with corrosive?

Question

Say you have a synchronize umbreon and a salazzle with corrosive uses toxic on you. Would the salazzle also get toxiced because it has corrosive? I guess this question also applies to magic bounce as well as mirror coat and the like.

Wait... showdown isn't known for being the most accurate with real-game interactions (example I tried using skill swap on an allie in a triple battle and it acted as entrainment, this was also fairly recent too)

I know that synchronize doesn't pass on toxic poison but I just want to be sure with in game examples
