Like in Pokemon ORAS, you need the blue pentagon in able to join Battle Spot Rate. So I wonder if sun and moon offers share the same regulation.

Older gen Pokémon aren't available yet, but I would assume this is the case.
How about ORAS pokemon? They are different to all other gen because of the blue pentagon AKA Kalos Mark. I wonder if ORAS Pokemons are compatible in SUN MOON Online Battle Spot Rank. I couldn't find anything related on the internet so i came here to ask questions.
Sun and Moon have their own version of the blue pentagon, a black + sign.

In the 2017 Championship Series season, all battles will be Double Battles. Players must compose their teams using only Pokémon found in the Alola Regional Pokédex that have been caught in Pokémon Sun and Pokémon Moon. This means that even if you have a Pokémon found in the Alola Regional Pokédex from a previous game, you'll have to catch it again in Pokémon Sun or Pokémon Moon for it to be eligible for competition.

From the Pokémon website's VGC 2017 page. It appears that, even when Sun/Moon has PokéBank compatibility, only Pokémon obtained in Alola will be allowed to be used.

Thank you for posting the link. My effort breeding and training Pokemon in ORAS is now wasted.
