Is Charizard defensively weak against Ice in Gen. 1 (R/B/Y)?

He shouldn't be (and isn't in later generations), since Fire is super effective against Ice.

He is; Ice was only made not very effective against Fire in Gen 2 and onward, so Charizards Flying type is affected super effectively.
