My understanding on how it works is that, in order to get an Alolan Vulpix, one of the breeding parents must already be an Alolan Vulpix. So, for example, if you were breeding a standard Vulpix with an Alolan Vulpix, you'd have a 50/50 at getting either form as offspring.

So, if you're playing Moon, you'll need to trade to get an Alolan Vulpix.

I think if you breed two different Vulpix, the form is inherited from the female. I don't have a reliable source, though.
thanks for the help
FALSE. as long as they are bred in alola and the parent that is kantonian vulpix does not have everstone they will hatch alola vulpixes for days

As I understand it you always get the Alolan form, regardless of which form either of the parents are. The only exception is if the female is holding an everstone AND is the Kanto form, only then can you get a kanto form. So in conclusion, as long as your Pokémon doesn't hold an everstone, you'll get Alolan Vulpix

From Serebii
When you transfer Pokémon from previous games and breed them, you will get their Alola Forms. However, if you attach an Everstone to the non-Gen VII native variant and breed, you'll get the standard form
