How would a Doom Seed work in this situation (PMD)?

The Doom Seed is an item in the Mystery Dungeon games that lowers your level by one. I was wondering what would happen in this scenario:

I am a happy little Treecko. I level up to 26 and learn Mega Drain. But, unfortunately, I then eat a Doom Seed. My level drops back down to 25. Do I still know Mega Drain? Or do I forget Mega Drain?

Before you ask "Why not just test this yourself," Doom Seeds are quite rare.

Yes, you still keep Mega Drain. I've tested it out myself, and any move that you learned at a certain level, stays until you delete it for something else.
