Does a Ditto that uses transform on a party member retain its HP stat?

Hello, I’ve been playing “competitively” with a Ditto for sometime now and have noticed that my 152 HP (at Level 50) will still show 152 HP when transforming into another party member in Doubles or Triples.

An example of this would be in Triples when it’s 3 to 2 and I put my Ditto on the side to transform into my 132 HP (at Level 50) Mega Scizor. The newly-transformed Ditto will still show 152 HP, but does that mean Ditto doesn’t exactly copy over all stats from Scizor?

No, transform doesn't copy the HP start from any Pokemon, regardless of if its a party member or an opposing Pokemon.
