PokéBase - Pokémon Q&A

I'm just curious, and it's the only Pokemon that changes gender, during evolution.

Just so you know, this was only possible in games older than XY.

Since Azurill has a 75% to be female, and Marill 50%, there is a chance to have it be a male.
It does because: Marill was there back then in Gold and Silver, and Azurill was newly added to Ruby and Sapphire. GameFreak had changed it between Azurill and it's evolution, and it's pretty weird to change a gender-ratio of a Pokémon. But they could've just keep the gender-ratios the same :/

That's all!
