Is it possible to have shiny celebi in Pokemon ultra moon?

I was in link trade with someone and they gave me a shiny celebi. I was wondering if it is possible to get shiny celebi in US and UM without hacking.

Yes, it is possible to get shiny Celebi through the Crystal VC and transfer it up to USUM. Additionally, that is the only way to get shiny Celebi in any game, so if it doesn’t have the VC origin mark, then it’s hacked.
