Can I use the Name Rater (Pokemon X) for a Wonder Card Pokemon?

I action replayed in a Slowking since it is hard to obtain normally, and I'm wondering if I can change it's name.

If the Pokemon's OT (original trainer) is you, then you will be able to make use of the Name Rater to rename Pokémon, but you won't gain the Exp. boost from traded Pokémon. All you need to do to see if the OT is a match for you is to actually attempt to give your Pokémon the nickname. If you have an Action Replay (not to be confused with the Powersaves cheat device), it is possible to give Pokémon different nicknames or simply match their OT to you with certain codes.
