If I encounter a shiny Pokemon will it reset the shiny chain?

I'm trying to hunt a shiny Wooloo in Shield, and I just wanted to know if I encounter a shiny Pokemon will it reset my shiny chain?

I don't believe it does. There isn't a real "shiny chain" in the SwSh games. If you are referring to the number of battles, then no. The specfific chain that increases the chance of encountering a shiny can never be broken. I hope this helps!

No it wont,
The shiny charm increses the chance of finding shinies
so..therefore the effect of a shiny charm will not go away!
