Will Float Stone have effect on Pokémon with Klutz ability?

I taught my Lopunny the move Low Kick and was wondering if Float Stone could make it lighter to deal more damage even with the Klutz ability?

There are a few factors that play into this.

1. Klutz ignores the Float Stone’s weight cut, so the strategy wouldn’t work.

2. Low Kick deals more damage the heavier the opponent, not how heavy the opponent is compared to you.
