I’m using Dragapult most likely as a special attacker with choice specs on my OU singles showdown team. Here is its info:

Dragapult @ Choice Specs
Ability: Infiltrator
EVs: 252 SpA / 4 SpD / 252 Spe
Modest Nature
- Draco Meteor
- Shadow Ball
- Fire Blast
- Thunderbolt / U-turn

(I will probably ask if I should use U-turn over Fire Blast/Thunderbolt in a different thread)

Bisharp has good type synergy with Dragapult and Togekiss has decent synergy with Bisharp (and serene grace is nice for 60% flinch chance air slash) Here’s what I’m thinking for their movesets:

Bisharp @ Black Glasses(?)
Ability: Defiant
EVs: 252 Atk / 4 SpD / 252 Spe
Adamant Nature
- Sucker Punch
- Knock Off
- Iron Head
- I don’t know yet, maybe swords dance?

Togekiss @ Choice Scarf(?)
Ability: Serene Grace
EVs: 4 Def / 252 SpA / 252 Spe
Timid Nature
- Air Slash
- Dazzling Gleam
- Fire Blast
- Aura Sphere / Nasty Plot

As for my other Pokémon, I am considering Urshifu (either form), Excadrill, Shuckle (hazard setter), and Ninetales (Aurora veil setup). I like using Mimikyu but I know that it doesn’t have the best type synergy with Dragapult so I probably won’t use it.

If I should use different Pokémon or movesets, please tell me. Also I’m new to Showdown & competitive in general and am not the best at team building, so please don’t get angry if these Pokémon or movesets are terrible together. Thank you :D

If you don't mind, I made the sets a bit neater, so they're easier to read.
Trick works for a scarf togekiss
-MegaCharizardY- thank you

Ok, I've got a few suggestions for the movesets.

First, for Dragapult, choose Thunderbolt or Fire Blast, and use U-turn. I suggest using Fire Blast for Ferrothorn, so would go with Draco Meteor, Shadow Ball, Fire Blast, and U-turn. Use Timid over Modest, since you already have Choice Specs to increase Special Attack. You want to speed tie most other Dragapult, which will usually run Timid + Choice Specs.

On Bisharp, you can use a Life Orb over Black Glasses, but Black Glasses work just fine. I would use Swords Dance for the last slot. Jolly can be used over Adamant for Speed, but Adamant also works well. Overall, good job on this set! :)

Onto Togekiss. This set could use the most work, in my opinion. First, never use a boosting move with a Choice item, it's just a waste of a moveslot. Second, I wouldn't use a Choice Scarf, unless you're running Trick. Personally, I like a Leftovers + Roost set, one that's meant to annoy the opponent.

Togekiss @ Leftovers
Ability: Serene Grace
EVs: 252 SpA / 4 SpD / 252 Spe
Timid Nature
IVs: 0 Atk
- Air Slash
- Roost
- Flamethrower
- Thunder Wave

Now, for the breakdown of the types.

With the moves I recommended, you have Flying, Fire, Dark, Steel, Dragon, Ghost, and Bug. These hit every Pokemon for at least neutral damage, which is good.

Defensively, Dragapult can take Electric and Poison type attacks for Togekiss, and Fighting and Fire type attacks for Bisharp. Bisharp can take Rock, Poison, Steel, and Ice type attacks for Togekiss, and Ice, Ghost, Dark, and Dragon type attacks for Togekiss. Togekiss can take Dark and Dragon type attacks for Dragapult, and Ground and Fighting type moves for Bisharp. So, all together, they can cover for each others weaknesses very well.

Also, with Togekiss as an annoyer, Dragapult as a Special Sweeper, and Bisharp as a set up Physical Sweepers, their roles align well together.

So, to answer your question, they do both seem like good teammates for Dragapult.

Hope this helps! :)

Thank you so much! Glad to hear that I made a decent offensive core!
I think he was going for the 60% flinch with scarf togekiss
And scarf let's you outspeed most everything (even zerora) thats not scarfed. I use it, it's my dragapult counter if I don't want to use my dragapult or it fainted
@Noop, no problem! :)

@sm 4evr, Air Slash still has the same flinch chance, and T-Wave is to make sure you outspeed. Roost is so it can stay in the battle longer.
Zeraora? You can't thunder wave it, but I mean if you have like an Excadrill or something it would work. And suprisingly most of the time I can take down a zeraora with air slash alone.
If you go against Zeraora, you don't want to keep Togekiss in, and if you do and somehow survive a Plasma Fists, you would use Flamethrower for the burn.
I guess? But only 20% burn chance but you are right about keeping it in. This is for them though. Use a other defensively bulky pokemon to reliably switch togekiss into for zeraora, togekiss won't fare well.
