Jolly Nature
- Sticky Web
- Acrobatics
- X-Scissor
- Crunch

This set is meant to activate Swarm and make the most of it. A Focus Sash allows it to get off a Sticky Web, and hopefully get the Swarm boost. Maxing out Attack and Speed increase its potential to grab some KOs with 1 HP. Sticky Web is to slow down your opponent's team. Acrobatics has double the power once its Focus Sash is consumed. X-Scissor is Swarm boosted STAB. Crunch is for coverage.

Careful Nature
- X-Scissor
- Light Screen
- Sticky Web
- Thunder Wave

Eviolite gives it more bulk, practically ensuring Grubbin helps at least a little. Light Screen helps your team against Special Attacks, Sticky Web to generally hinder the opponent, and Thunder Wave for mostly the same reasons as Sticky Web, plus it paralyzes. X-Scissor is solid STAB, and helps Grubbin have a way to be a bit useful if it's Taunted.
