E.G: Dusk balls, Quick balls ETC

[Contrary to popular myths,](https://www-dexerto-com.cdn.ampproject.org/v/s/www.dexerto.com/pokemon/pokemon-sword-shield-player-finally-clears-up-dusk-ball-raid-den-myth-1409216/?amp_js_v=a6&amp_gsa=1&amp&usqp=mq331AQHKAFQArABIA%3D%3D#aoh=16102995145032&amp_ct=1610299529494&referrer=https%3A%2F%2Fwww.google.com&amp_tf=From%20%251%24s&ampshare=https%3A%2F%2Fwww.dexerto.com%2Fpokemon%2Fpokemon-sword-shield-player-finally-clears-up-dusk-ball-raid-den-myth-1409216%2F) **You do not receive Dusk Ball bonuses in Max Raids during the day.** Only at night.

Quick Balls are useless in Raids.

Heal Balls will heal any bosses you catch.

These balls receive bonuses if the Max Raid Boss/other conditions fit the criteria:

- Repeat Balls
- Dive Balls
- Net Balls
- Timer Balls

This was my answer, but I ran into trouble with Fast/Heavy/Love/Dream/Moon/Nest/Lure and Level Balls. I can't find any information on these balls in Max Raids.

Well let's examine every ball in SWSH.
Quick ball- it's not for raid battles. 100%
Pokeball- nothing to say 1 catch rate is bad (even great ball and primier ball are similar and same respectively so I'll not cover that.)
Ultra ball- it's standard ball in late game. It all right I guess, but rarely works for me. (Might work for you)

As pulse said, repeat ball, dusk ball, dive ball and net balls work a little better than above pokeballs if their requirements are met. But not timer ball. In 5 star Pokémon raid battles you only have 10 turns. Just 1 time boost isn't that good.
Repeat ball is the best in these though with 9% chance to catch bosses.
Finally the best one:

Master ball - literally nothing to say, it will catch any Pokémon without fail and use it if you want for one Pokémon that's most difficult.
Hope I helped!

The Timer Ball apparently gets a boost from every Pokemon's turn so it's actually really good.
Not every turn, 1 in 10 turns xd
> In the raid conditions there are the "4 koed" and "10 turns" limits, but the turns might be referring to the den's pokemon's number of turns, when the timer ball seems to take in everyone's action. So if you ko the dynamax on your third turn, the ball would account up to 15 turns.

Of course this is from Reddit https://www.reddit.com/r/pokemon/comments/dzye9b/timer_ball_in_raids/ so I don't know how true it is
did you see the comment? It also says repeat balls are the best
Uhm, yes, I never disagreed with you on that?
oh sorry ,my bad x(
No it's okay
