I was looking through my screenshots, and found an old FireRed emulator play through photo. It was me finding my- what, 7th Pikachu? I took a commemorative picture, but in the picture, the Pikachu was PARALYZED. I don’t remember if it was from Static or Thunder Shock, though I don’t know if it makes a difference. How was it paralyzed?

Prior to Generation 6, Electric Pokemon were able to be paralyzed. They could only be Paralyzed by any type Paralyzing move (Yes, even Thunder Wave) and Paralysis inducing abilities (e.g. Static).

My answer: What he said.
Electric Pokemon aren't immune to electric moves, so they can also be paralyzed by them (in gens 2 to 5).
Whoops, my bad.
Thank you
