Transferring Challenge Mode?

Question

So I have a copy of Black 2 with challenge mode unlocked, and a copy of White 2 (with multiple ds’s.) I want to play challenge mode on Black 2, so can I give it to White 2, delete my Black 2 file and then have my White 2 give it to the fresh file?

Edit-So I tried it out, and no. It does not work. So if you want to play black 2 on challenge mode, you need two copies of it.
