Can you transfer the mew that you get via trainer fly?

I captured a mew using the trainer fly glitch in Pokemon yellow. I was wondering if I would be able to transfer it to gen 2 games or later generations, since I'm able to transfer other Pokemon that I got via the glitch, like gengar.

Is there a way to transfer it to later gens using poke transporter? Bc when I tried transferring the box with mew, it said there was one pokemon that couldn't be transported, and it was mew.
