Does a Pokémon with the Healer ability also cure itself?

Question

Pretty much what the question states. I'd like to know if Healer also triggers for the Pokémon that has that ability.

For example; My Audino would use Rest, Healer triggers and Sleep gets removed.

I know, super late. I couldn't find the answer though.

At the end of each turn, Healer has a 30% chance of curing an adjacent ally's status condition. If the Pokémon has multiple adjacent allies with status conditions, it has an independent 30% chance of curing each one, and can cure more than one in the same turn. If it cures a status condition, it does so before burn or poison damage is dealt on that turn(from bulbapedia). Adjacent means next to or adjoining something else, so Healer can only heal it's allies.
