What are bingos in Pokémon Quest?

I've been looking at reddit threads, and I keep seeing people talking about bingos. I'm not sure how they work, so can someone please explain how they work?

In Pokémon Quest, when selecting you Skill Stones to insert into each Pokémon, you’ll notice Pokeball icons to the right of your stones, which light up from top to bottom for each 3 stones in a row- showing that a Bingo Bonus is active. Example:

You can see your bingo bonuses by taping here:

And looking here:

This Slowbro gets the bingo bonuses -10% Recovery Time, Immunity to Confusion, and 30% HP Recovery at the end of a Wave. :P
