For example, Flare Blitz inflicts recoil damage to the user, but also has an additional effect to burn; if the user has Sheer Force, Flare Blitz's damage will be boosted by 30% and the user will take recoil damage, but it cannot burn the target.

Specifically for flare blitz, it deals more damage but can never burn

Sheer Force does not consider recoil or decreasing the user's own stats to be additional effects.

According to that, just because a move has recoil does not mean it gets sheer forced, pun intended. The ability that increases damage of recoil moves is called reckless

As the ability as a whole, it is very useful. it's very great for cracking open defensive Pokemon. It's what pushed genie form Landorus over the edge and why Nidoking is an irritation to face in singles competitive. As for in game, the more damage, the merrier so this is even more useful unless you're playing a nuzlocke

I played Pokemon Gaia (rom hack ) and encounter a darmanitan with sheer force and he uses flare blitz and does not get recoil damage.
It's a rom hack. Bulbapedia would not contain the information on what has changed from the official games. If you are playing that rom hack, then you should google exactly what was changed from the base game and also, rom questions are not allowed here
Ok sorry for that. Can u please tell what sheer force boosted moves darmanitan can learn.
