What is a good held item for Slaking in Emerald playthroughs?

im planning on getting a slaking in Pokemon emerald so I need a item for it

Silk scarf is good. Generally in a playthrough you just want an item that increases the power of moves, and silk scarf increases the power of normal moves, slaking's STAB. Plus you can get it early in dewford town.
