this is an example, now the next time torterra is in battle will the curse still take effect?

If not it might be a good idea to have Mean Look on a pokemon with curse

Onthe other hand, it would quickly become broke if it did stay after swicthing. Just stall out a few turns, and they'll go out without any challenge.

If they do switch out their new poke has to take a hit, which should even out the curse hp loss.
