PokéBase - Pokémon Q&A

I was doing the post game gym challenges and decided to fill my dex with some pokémons from the mimikyu forest (Tagtree Thicket) which is on the other side of the crater hole.
Went towards the Pokemon league (since the flag was pointing that way) jumped up on the building and on the rocks only to find the crater and the flag on the other side. Decided "might as well go around the rocky mountain path" to my surprise I found a Magnezone just flying about. Thought it was a fluke but continuing my journey I came across 2 more, making it 3 total, and 2 Garchomps, all around lvl 51-57.

My question/request is if someone can try to replicate it and see if it really is a consistent spawn zone for them or if something else pops up, since it might help someone.

This was done on scarlet version 1.01.

tl;dr: magnezone near crater hole trying to fly away, saw more than 1, trying to see if it is a spawn location.

If you are comparing this to this sites spawn data, our spawn data is completely inaccurate right now.
I don't think it's "completely inaccurate" but it has problems, including missing static spawns such as the one OP mentions.
Thank you, since I've been avoiding spoilers and was checking some zones on some of the mons here, thought it was some sort of bug or something.

... I'm not helping, am I?

There are 10 static Magnezone and Garchomp each that are located in various points around the Great Crater of Paldea.

I just wanted to clarify that these are fixed spawns, they are not consistent spawns in the sense that you can easily despawn and respawn the Magnezone or that they are affected by Encounter Power or can spawn in outbreaks. This map isn't perfect, as it's missing some fixed spawns, but it does show approximately where on the map each Garchomp and Magnezone is located.

Yes, Magnezone and Garchomp spawn around the rim of Area Zero consistently.
