Why did Jumpluff not get Salt cured?

Question

So I was playing BSS and went against an opponent with a Jumpluff. I tried salt curing it with Garganacl but the secondary DOT effect didn’t happen. I also tried nuzzling it with Pawmot but it didn’t get para’d. I checked it’s abilities to see if it might have something but leaf guard couldn’t be in play since no sun was up. That all being said how did this Jumpluff avoid these things?

The Jumpluff might have been holding the Covert Cloak. This means that it doesn't get affected by the secondary effects of moves, and would also explain why it didn't get paralyzed by Nuzzle.
