From petals/teeter? Dance

This question is answerable on the site, on Leaf Guard’s page. Leaf Guard is stated to not affect minor status conditions like confusion.
I'm clearing flags. This isn't quite the lazy kind of question that rule 1.3 covers.

Hey there. Leaf Guard only protects against non-volatile status conditions.

While Leaf Guard does protect you from your own non-volatile status conditions, confusion does not fall into that category.

“It does not prevent minor status ailments such as Confusion or Infatuation, nor does it prevent self-inflicted status conditions such as from using Rest.“ -the DB page on Leaf Guard.
That may be dated and need an update. It stops you from using rest outright. Just tested it to confirm. Stops Toxic Orb and Flame Orb, too (so long as you get the sun up first).
Interesting, my bad. The Bulbapedia pages mention nothing about self-inflicted status conditions specifically (since usually they are made exceptions to these kinds of rules), so thanks for testing.
