A water type good in sun is really intresting, though I need to test it out

Sun Fire teams are no more in Monotype.

Gen 9 Monotype (Dragon)

Walking Wake @ Choice Scarf
Ability: Protosynthesis
Tera Type: Water
EVs: 8 HP / 4 Def / 244 SpA / 252 Spe
Timid Nature
IVs: 0 Atk
- Hydro Pump
- Hydro Steam
- Draco Meteor
- Dragon Pulse / Flamethrower

Walking Wake is a nice addition for Dragon teams that serves as a nice Choice Scarf user that can handle Chien-Pao. The given EV spread gives Walking Wake a boost in speed whenever sun is up. I'll explain why I have Walking Wake boost its speed in sun along with having Choice Scarf in a little bit. Hydro Pump is for a powerful Water STAB when sun isn't up. Hydro Steam becomes a powerful Water STAB when used under sun. Speaking of sun, Sun Fire teams are the reason why this set has Choice Scarf and another speed boost from Protosynthesis. If Walking Wake has just the Protosynthesis speed boost or just a Choice Scarf, it wouldn't be able to out speed Scovillain under sun as well as Choice Scarf Iron Moth. However, with both Choice Scarf AND the Protosynthesis speed boost, Walking Wake can outspeed Iron Moth and Scovillain under the sun. This allows Walking Wake to counterteam and 6-0 Sun Fire teams. Draco Meteor is used for a powerful Dragon STAB. Dragon Pulse is used for a more accurate Dragon STAB that is useful late game. Flamethrower can be used instead for coverage against Grass- and Steel-types such as Scizor, Amoonguss, Gholdengo, and Corviknight.

In conclusion:
Walking Wake: AWESOME Dragon
Sun Fire Teams: DEAD

I didn't even consider Scovillain or Iron Moth; great thinking!
I've got to say, I've never thought of using WW like this, and now that i've seen what it can do, I'm positively terrified

Walking Wake @ Choice Specs
Ability: Protosynthesis
EVs: 12 HP / 244 SpA / 252 Spe
Timid Nature
IVs: 0 Atk
Tera Type: Electric
- Hydro Steam
- Draco Meteor
- Flamethrower
- Tera Blast
Kingdra on roids. Pair with Torkoal. The first three moves are standard, the last is for coverage to better wreck Toxapex and Azumarill. EVs are so Speed is one point higher than Sp Atk (348 vs 347) so that you get a speed boost. of course, if you want more power, fully invest in Sp Atk so you get a special attack boost and truly sweep

Gen 9 Ubers Sun Sweeper

Walking Wake @ Choice Specs
Ability: Protosynthesis
Tera Type: Water
EVs: 244 SpA / 12 SpD / 252 Spe
Timid Nature
IVs: 0 Atk
- Hydro Steam
- Dragon Pulse
- Draco Meteor
- Flamethrower

A nice sweeper for Sun teams, as the water typing is a nice standout against the normal Fire types on Sun teams. Specs and Protosynthesis make it a formidable wallbreaker, pairing well with Koraidon as a sun setter. Draco and Pulse are used together due to this thing's subpar special movepool, and Tera Water to turn Hydro Steam into a nice killing machine. The EVs and Timid guarantee a Spe boost under Sun while keeping the Specs boost.

  • 244 SpA Choice Specs Walking Wake Dragon Pulse vs. 0 HP / 4 SpD Miraidon: 356-422 (104.3 - 123.7%) -- guaranteed OHKO
  • 244 SpA Choice Specs Walking Wake Draco Meteor vs. +1 0 HP / 4 SpD Miraidon: 362-428 (106.1 - 125.5%) -- guaranteed OHKO
  • 244 SpA Choice Specs Walking Wake Hydro Steam vs. 4 HP / 0 SpD Assault Vest Iron Treads: 338-402 (104.9 - 124.8%) -- guaranteed OHKO
  • 244 SpA Choice Specs Walking Wake Hydro Steam vs. 0 HP / 4 SpD Flutter Mane: 145-172 (57.7 - 68.5%) -- guaranteed 2HKO
  • 244 SpA Choice Specs Walking Wake Hydro Steam vs. 248 HP / 252+ SpD Clodsire: 272-324 (58.7 - 69.9%) -- guaranteed 2HKO after Leftovers recovery

Walking Wake @ Heat Rock
Ability: Protosynthesis
EVs: 252 SpA / 4 SpD / 252 Spe
Timid Nature
IVs: 0 Atk
Tera Type: Water
- Hydro Steam
- Dragon Pulse/Draco Meteor
- Flamethrower
- Sunny Day

A Water Type for Sun Teams. Sunny Day both sets up for your other Teammates and your own Protosynthesis, boosting your Sp. Attack. Hydro Steam and Dragon Pulse are STAB, with Hydro Steam being stronger in Sun and the option of Draco Meteor if you're fine with swapping more. Flamethrower is also boosted by Sun and more or less your only Coverage. Tera Type Water is used to hit even harder with Hydro Steam.

That's exactly what I use! Wow!!!
Well, I guess that team's walking wake is a good one.

With this EV spread + Timid Nature, Walking Wake's Speed stat will be 1 point higher than it's Sp. Attack, (@ lv. 100 and lv. 50), which is relevant as when Protosynthesis activates, you'll receive a ×1.5 boost to it's Speed (same as Choice Scarf), rather than a ×1.3 boost to Sp. Attack.

As for the Item, I'd recommend Choice Specs, giving a ×1.5 boost to Sp. Attack (although it does it's locking to one move thing). If you don't want to use this set in the Sun, you could run the Booster Energy to still get that ×1.5 boost to Speed with Protosynthesis. Other options include: Choice Scarf, (if I can math, a ×2.25 boost to Speed when Protosynthesis is active) Life Orb, (×1.3 boost on attacking moves at the cost of HP) or for a more bulky item, Assault Vest (×1.5 Sp. Defense, can use Status moves)

As for the moveset, Hydro Steam is a given, as it's Water STAB that gets boosted by ×1.5 in the Sun (Instead of the usual 50% decrease Water moves get in sun). Draco Meteor is strong Dragon STAB, that has a manageable draw back (Lowers Sp.A by 2 Stages after it hits). Flamethrower for coverage that also gets boosted in the Sun, and finally, Tera Blast (Normal/Steel) To hit threatening Fairy types for Super Effective damage.

As for the Tera type, Tera Steel not only for the offense it gives with Tera Blast, butbecause it comes with a number of resists, namely Fairy and Dragon, which are Water/Dragon's only weaknesses. While being weak to Fighting, Ground and Fire, you quad resist fire before Tera, and Fire and Ground types are hit for Super Effective damage with Water moves, making it hard to get rid of.

Finally, I recommend having teammates like Koriadon or Torkoal, as they can easily set up the Sun and both have other utilities that can help the team.

You could also add Clear Amulet to prevent the -2 Sp. Atk drop from Draco Meteor
Unfortunately, that's not how the Clear Amulet works. It doesn't prevent "self-inflicted," for a lack better words, stat drops that moves such as Draco Meteor would give. It essentially has the same effect as the ability Clear Body. It would be really cool if it did prevent the stat drops of Draco Meteor.

Rain Team Bulky Sweeper

Walking Wake @ Assault Vest/Booster Energy
Ability: Protosynthesis
Tera Type: Water
EVs: 252 HP / 4 Def / 60 SpA / 192 Spe
Bold/Modest Nature
IVs: 0 Atk
- Chilling Water
- Hydro Steam
- Dragon Pulse
- Hurricane

This is a bulky set to use in the rain. Most people are focusing on Sun teams but Walking Wake could be amazing in the rain as well.

For items, if you’re going to use the Booster Energy, the EV spread means that instead of the 1.3 boost to SpAtk, it’s Spe is boosted by 1.5 as it’s one point higher then it’s SpAtk. Assault Vest is for more bulk but less speed.
Tera Water gets rid of its Dragon and Fairy weaknesses and boosts the power is Hydro Steam and Chilling Water.
Chilling Water helps your and your teams Def by reducing the Atk of opponents, which pairs really well with the Assault Vest
Hydro Steam is Water STAB and can’t be crippled in sun if you come across a sun team.
Dragon Pulse is Dragon STAB, nuff said.
And Hurricane is a powerhouse of a move in the rain and covers your Grass weakness when Terastillized.

Chilling water lowers enemy attack, not raise your defense. It's different.
It is different but they have the same effect, Walking Wake is going to be taking less physical damage
There is a big difference in lowering somethings atk and raising your defense
Fair enough, I’ll edit it to be more clear

Walking Wake @ Wise Glasses
Ability: Protosynthesis
Tera Type: Water
EVs: 252 Sp. Atk/252 Spd/4 HP
Nature: Modest
-Sunny Day
-Hydro Steam
-Dragon Pulse
-Flamethower

My friend came up with this set. He also came up with an Iron Leaves I posted. Go check it out if you're interested. But this set completely focuses on attack power and coverage. Sunny Day provides Protosynthesis and a boosts to Hydro Steam and Flamethrower. Hydro Steam is the main attacking move and water STAB. Dragon Pulse is dragon STAB. Flamethrower takes cares of grass type when Terastalized and those hoping to land a 4x effictive freeze dry.

by
Why Wise Glasses when Life Orb exists? Also, the part about Flamethrower taking care of Grass types when Terastalized doesn't make sense because the Tera listed is Water, maybe you meant Fire?
Wise Glasses because it doesn't damage the user every turn. Also, I meant if I tera into a water type i become pure water b/c i lost my dragon type. This means I have a grass weakness. That is where flamethrower comes in.
It'd be better NOT to Tera if an opponent is Grass and that would be a bad Tera. Wise Glasses gives such a small boost that Life Orb is better
What's the explanation for the EV investment?

Wake has access to one of the best setup moves in Pokémon: dragon dance, along with a good physical movepool. So, here's a physical Wake!

Walking Wake @ Leftovers
Ability: Protosynthesis
Tera Type: Steel/Dragon/Water
EVs: 4 HP / 252 Atk / 252 Spe
Jolly Nature
- Dragon Dance
- Liquidation
- Crunch/Fire Fang/Low Kick
- Dragon Claw

DDance is setup, liquidation and dragon claw are stab, the rest is coverage.

Recommended to use in sun teams:

Walking Wake @ Choice Specs
Ability: Protosynthesis
Tera Type: Electric
EVs: 240 SpA / 16 SpD / 252 Spe
Timid Nature
- Hydro Steam / Hydro pump
- Draco Meteor
- Flip Turn
- Tera Blast

Due to the weird ev spread, protosynthesis will give you a speed boost. Electric tera blast is to not only hit alomomola, corviknight and toxapex, but get people by surprise with it too.
