Inner Focus can stop Fake Out users, and is immune to Intimidate. However, Defiant is probably a better ability overall, and is better at dealing with Intimidate users.
Defiant. Natdex or not, defiant has always been Bisharp's go to ability because it heavily deters defog. You don't want to give this thing a free sd. Inner focus's ability to stop flinching may be nice but a quick glance at the vr shows not much options for flinching outside of Gyarados' waterfall. Speaking of Gyarados, blocking intimidate may seem nice but defiant does the job far better since it turns intimidate into a net positive with a free boost to attack. Whatever the case, defiant has always been Bisharp's go to ability ever since it came into existence since gen five and for good reason. Inner focus is highly specific and Bisharp doesn't have the bulk or recovery to make use of pressure
