Ribombee would be good for doubles because many of the moves it learns like tailwind and pollen puff are more viable in doubles
I would pair it with a sudo legendary and then teach it a ton of supporting moves so Kommo-o would be a good Pokemon to pair it with because Kommo -o would be an absolute demon if paired with a support that knows moves like tailwind and pollen puff.

- Clanging Scales) is a spammable move that does not lower SpA
- Vacuum Wave) is a good priority move that stops scarf Pokemon in their tracks
- Flamethrower) is good for hitting Pokemon that would otherwise beat it to the ground
Anyways, here is the strategie, Kommo - o use Clangorous Soul to boost every stat and rimbombee tailwinds, then you use rimbombee's Pollen puff to heal Kommo - o while Kommo - o uses whatever move it will use, the duo will outspeed everything for 4 turns and kommo - o can sweep while rimbombee makes life even more difficult by using sleep powder on Pokemon that arent grass types. And, it can sticky web for even better speed control.
