Pichu is adorable, and I had an idea. If somebody were to catch a small Pichu worthy of the Teensy Mark, transfer it to Sword (or any game that has Marks), play with it and battle with it, transfer it back to the original games (Scarlet/Violet), would the Mark still be there? And does the Mark appear in-game when you check the summary of the Pichu in Sword or Shield?

At this point, ya know the drill. Hide if it's a dupe. And this isn't just for Pichu. It's for any Pokémon available in Scarlet and Violet that appears in Sword (or a game that has Marks).

It will still have the Mark, but it won't appear at all when in Sword and Shield, unless the Mark in question is the Destiny Mark.

The Twinkling Star and Hisui Ribbons (which were introduced in Pokémon Brilliant Diamond and Shining Pearl, and Pokémon Legends: Arceus, respectively) do not exist in Pokémon Sword and Shield. They do not appear in the summary, cannot be equipped, and have no programmed title in Pokémon Sword and Shield. They only display their corresponding title when equipped in Pokémon Scarlet and Violet.
This extends to all Scarlet and Violet exclusive Marks and Ribbons as well, excluding the Destiny Mark, which was programmed into Sword and Shield, but was unobtainable prior to Scarlet and Violet.
