What's the point of the Synchro Machine?

I don't have the game but it seems like all it does is allow you to walk around as a Pokemon and auto battle everything in the over world. What's the point of this?

You get to walk around as your pokémon and that’s pretty cool. Idk if there’s anything else though since i dont have the game, but just walking as your pokémon seems cool enough

Yeah, I think it’s just cool. I think you can pick stuff up, but I think it’s more about having fun, it reminds of Legends: Arceus

It allows you to control your Pokémon. Which is cool. It’s for fun. What, you expected more?

You can move as fast as your Pokémon can. You can also pick up items alongside battling so there’s that. AND you can spawn a giant Marill ball pressing ZR. If your Pokémon could fly you can glide with it. What more is there in life?

The point: FUN
