Does the Shiny Charm help with Masuda Method or only wild encounters?

I know it helps with Pokémon in the wild, but what about Masuda, and what're the odds?

It helps with both, ONLY except BDSP where it only helps with eggs, iirc.

The Shiny Charm has always worked for Masuda Method encounters.

In B2W2, standard Masuda Method odds are 1/1365, but get reduced to 1/1024 with the Shiny Charm

For all games Gen VI+, standard Masuda Method odds are 1/683, but get reduced to 1/512 with Shiny Charm.
