it means its sticky and cannot be used. talking to lickylicky in the secret bazzar or using a clense orb can clean it.

It means you stepped on a sticky trap or it is from a mission & you can't use it any more.

I had item that was used for darkrai & a bung of others to join jour team & it got "sticky" & I turned off my game XD
